Hakan Demir serves as a Consultant at DND Law Firm, providing strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, investment projects, corporate strategy, financial structuring and complex commercial transactions. A significant part of his professional career was built at Koç Holding, one of Türkiye’s leading industrial and investment conglomerates, where he served as Senior Project Manager / Special Projects Manager between 1998 and 2006. During this period, he was involved in the management and execution of multi-billion-dollar M&A, licensing, privatization and large-scale industrial projects across Türkiye and the surrounding region.
Building on his experience in corporate finance, strategic negotiations and complex transaction execution at Koç Holding, Demir subsequently assumed entrepreneurial and senior executive roles across the telecommunications, technology, energy and infrastructure sectors. As Founder and General Manager of Fenerbahçe Communication Services, he launched Fenercell, one of Türkiye’s pioneering mobile virtual network operator initiatives. He later served as CEO of SolarAPEX, contributing to the development and execution of solar power projects exceeding 1,000 MWp in aggregate capacity.
Demir holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an MSc in Political Science from Marmara University. He also graduated as valedictorian from Koç University’s Executive MBA program with a 4.0/4.0 GPA. At DND Law Firm, he brings a senior business and investment perspective to strategic decision-making, transaction structuring and commercial negotiations for investors, corporations and project developers.
